Obama’s Writers

Barack Obama wrote this in the New York Times yesterday.

Well, he probably didn’t write it himself. More likely, one of his handlers had one of his speech writers work it up.

It was only last Thursday when he performed his now famous flip flip with his “refine my policies” statement. Then, four hours later, he held another news conference where he flipped again. Or maybe he flopped. I can’t keep it straight with all the back and forth.

The point is, even though it was very clear what he said in the first news conference last Thursday, his campaign handlers acted quickly to set the candidate straight about what he was supposed to be saying.

A mere four days after he spoke his mind, his op-ed piece shows up in the New York Times, reinforcing the corrected message.

Since the piece likely had to be presented the night before, that’s impressive. It was a very well done piece and John McCain should think about hiring whoever it was that wrote it.

The Obama campaign has been very good at responding to bad news, and their writers deserve a lot of the credit for that.

And it also helps that Barack Obama makes ‘Slick Willie’ look like 30 grit sandpaper. Everything slides right off this guy.
